These appointments were for my husband but I accompanied him for each time he visited. They are very nice and try very hard to make his visits successful...making the adjustments that needs to be made. They are very accomodating.

Dr. Yopa was very professional and helpful, taking a great deal of time to orient me to the options for my new hearing aids. Dr. Stein worked me into the schedule for that day for a consult regarding some concerning findings on the audiogram.

Hearing aides were not performing. Specialist cleaned them, and showed me how to clean them. Now they work great!

I've had a great experience with Dr. Valentine while going through the process to determine if I would benefit from a hearing aid. Throughout the testing process and the follow-up receiving of my hearing aid, Dr. Valentine's people skills and communication style have the effect of making you feel very comfortable and receptive to her knowledge and instructions while learning how best to utilize your new hearing aid. She has a caring attitude and takes her time with you. Her professionalism is beyond reproach. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of improved hearing.

I had all my questions answered. My hearing aids were adjusted and cleaned. I had my yearly evaluation. I met with the intern, Maggie. She did an excellent job. She really knew her stuff.

Any time my PHONAK hearing aids need adjusted or any thing they are always helpful thanks for all you do for me Matt Miller. Well guess I never posted this.. I went there a week ago an had no appointment they got my hearing aids working an stayed late on a Friday nite to get them working THANKS , MATT

I was in for new hearings and was pleased to see the new technology. The audiologist explained everything I needed to know about them. She adjusted them electronically I was amazed how easy it was.

First, let me state that the quality of care given here is superb and I have no issues with it. However, the man who is responsible for selling hearing aids was not transparent and was so focused on getting the sale that he left out important information about our insurance coverage that would have changed our buying decision. On the web site for Ohio Hearing and Audiology, they state that they will take the time to explain your insurance coverage to you. This did not happen and now my wife has hearing aids that cost 90% more than they should have all because our insurance requires us to buy a specific brand and that is not what they sell here. This was never communicated and, in fact, we were told were were getting a better price because we had good insurance. What was not said was that this is not the same as having coverage, evidently. I was also told by Ohio Hearing and Audiology they have notes that state our insurance would not pay because they are out of network but our insurance company says that is not true and they have notes from the phone call that state that they never said we did not have out of network coverage. In fact, we do have out of network coverage and the only limitation is the supplier of the hearing aids, meaning Ohio Hearing and Audiology could not supply the hearing aids. Shady practices going on here and I would steer clear as the sale seems to be more important than the care given. Unfortunate as the level of care is excellent. UPDATE: Ohio Hearing and Audiology worked with me to clear up an apparent misunderstanding between my insurance carrier and them. While the first communication was terse, the follow up was cordial. Insurance covered the cost of the hearing aid but the services part was not covered. Therefore, we still had some significant out of pocket costs. It would have been good to know that up front. As stated previously, treatment was outstanding. However, the miscommunication issues, both with my insurance carrier and me, resulted in time lost and expenses not covered. I have, therefore, upgraded my rating from one to three stars.

Stopped by for my annual check up with Dr. Amy. She cleaned my hearing aid and charging case contacts and reprogrammed them to match my personal requests. To me, it's amazing (the technology) what's wrapped up in these tiny ear pieces! See you in the fall.

Excellent experience. Everything for my hearing test was clearly explained before and results were discussed in laymenu2019s terms. Although I am only on the border line for needing hearing aids, when the time comes to get them I will definitely use Ohio Hearing and Audiology in Ashland

Recent appointment was my one year mark. I have been very pleased with my Signia hearing aids and with all of the staff at Ohio Hearing. Both audiologists have been very helpful and informative. They are very patient with someone, like myself, that has very limited knowledge of technology.

2-7-2024, fantastic, keep Dr Valentine at all cost! 8-4-23- I had another visit with Dr Valentine, she is very caring, a great Dr. and very professional. Dr. Valentine cares about your well-being , not just rushing you in and rushing you out, she makes sure you are comfortable and satisfied before you leave the office. Ohio Hearing needs to mold or clone her and there would never be any issues or bad reviews. I also seen Dr. Stein, the comments above pertain to him also. After a bad experience at another office, my visit yesterday renewed my faith. Dr Valentine and her shadow (Vanessa) were nothing but professional and amazing! During the visit nothing went untouched, all questions and concerns were reviewed and answered, I left the office very confident in my new hearing aids and the care and attention this staff gave me and my wife was amazing. Another positive note was Alison Chapan , who is I believe the director texted me to insure the visit was nothing but great. The Ashland office is amazing and I will continue to refer family and friends to this office.

My hearing aids wouldn't work. Took into office and after consult they sent in for repair. Returned within 7 days and now are fine.
