Hearing Tests and Evaluations
A hearing loss test involves a few steps to accurately diagnose your unique hearing issue. No two people are the same, and neither are their hearing challenges. Your evaluation will include an examination of the ear with an otoscope, tone testing, speech discrimination, and other possible tests, such as tympanometry and bone conduction. The purpose of each is to test the middle, inner, and outer ear and determine if you have sensorineural, conductive, or mixed hearing loss.
